- A polyester layer that can wick moisture away, but also adds comfort.
- A cotton layer that improves breathability and adds natural bounce.
- A layer made of pocket springs that is responsible for supporting your body.
- All the layers again and reversed. This is a double-sided mattress after all.

Does it feature a nice cover?
This cover is made of premium viscose, a material that has a number of great properties. For starters, it has the ability to wick moisture away so you can sleep more comfortably. Secondly, it’s lightweight and it’s silky soft. Finally, viscose is quite durable, so it will last for a long time. This cover is hand-stitched, and it has a nice tufted pattern. The design is a plain one featuring a white colour with silver details.
On the sides, the people at OTTY have added 4 handles that will help you rotate it whenever needed. I remind you that this is a double-sided mattress. Unfortunately, this is not a removable cover, so you cannot machine-wash it. Overall, this is a well-made cover that won’t disappoint.
What is the feel of this mattress?
I want to continue writing this OTTY Natural Origin mattress review and talk about its feel. This is a mattress built for the average sleeper, so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say this is a 7 with 10 being really firm. I want to talk now about my experience with it during the past ten days.
Starting from the back, the mattress distributed my weight evenly, and the support was great. I felt comfortable sleeping this way, and there were no pressure points on my back.
Turning to the side position, the mattress reacted quickly, and sinkage increased. There were still high levels of support, and there was no discomfort in my hips or shoulders.
Finally, turning to the stomach position, the sleeping surface felt ideal for this position, and I felt well-supported. As a result, I can say that this mattress is an actual all-rounder.
The OTTY Natural mattress is a solid construction, and the result is great edge support. Additionally, the springs don’t transfer motion, so you won’t disturb your partner during the night.
Will I pay for delivery?
If you decide to order the OTTY Natural mattress, you will get a free premium delivery. That means that your mattress will be delivered by a 2-man courier team. This is not offered by many makers, and it’s impressive that OTTY offers it. For an extra fee, the couriers can even remove your old mattress, and this can be very helpful. Delivery usually takes between 2-5 working days, and that, of course, depends on your postcode.
My mattress arrived in 2 working days, as I am based in London. OTTY informed me about every step of the process, and this really impressed me. The couriers were quite friendly and they placed the mattress in my bedroom. This cost me an extra tenner, but it was worth the money. Overall, I had a great experience with them, so no complaints at all.
Is there a way to try this mattress before I buy it?
