Winter is approaching and everyone is looking to buy a new duvet. If you fall into this category, you should definitely read this Emma Cloud duvet review. As I grew older, I started to appreciate good bedding and I realised that a good duvet can significantly improve our sleeping experience. That is the main reason, I started this section on this site.
Emma is a well-known German maker that is very popular in the UK. After having great success with their hybrid mattress, they decided to create a duvet for those who look for a cloud-like feeling. Mine arrived about a month ago so let’s move to the full review below.
Construction
The Cloud duvet comes with a micro-fibre fill that has the ability to regulate the body’s heat. It comes with a 6.7 tog rating which makes it ideal for autumn and spring. Having said that, if you live in the southern areas of the UK, this will probably be good for winter too. The cover of this duvet is made of polyester and they used this material because it’s very breathable. In addition, it’s durable and it’s easy to clean. This allows this duvet to be machine washable so if you want to clean it you can choose a washing cycle up to 60°C.
The Emma Cloud duvet is eco-friendly and it’s a good down-alternative option. That is great as many people don’t want to buy real-down products. Overall, this is a well-made duvet and that is something I expected from such a maker.
Design & Fit
When designing this duvet, Emma wanted to create a clean look that would suit every sleeper. For this reason, they used a plain white colourway that features a discreet lining with Emma’s branding. The result is a premium look and I must say that this duvet looks more expensive than it actually is. Regarding the fit, the dimensions for each size are accurate so I didn’t notice any gaps in the corners which is great. Overall, this is a beautiful duvet and Emma did a good job here.
Pricing
This duvet is available in 4 sizes so you have a number of options to choose from. The smaller size (Single) sells for £109 with the bigger (Super King) going for £169. However, the people at Emma run frequent promotions so you will probably pay less than that. The table below has pricing information for all available sizes.
SIZE | DIMENSIONS | PRICE |
Single | 140 x 200cm | £109 |
Double | 200 x 220cm | £129 |
King | 225 x 220cm | £149 |
Super King | 240 x 220cm | £169 |
Delivery & Service
When you buy an Emma Cloud duvet, you will get a 200-night trial period that will give you plenty of time to try it and decide later if you want to keep it or not. If you are not happy with it, you can return it and they will give you a full refund. This is great and it’s something that not many makers offer. Moreover, all duvets are delivered for free and they are usually dispatched within 1-3 working days. Mine was delivered within 5 working days by DPD and the service was great. The courier was on time and it was a no-contact delivery process. Overall, Emma has packed this duvet with excellent service and it’s one of the best deals you can find in the UK.
Verdict
It’s time now to complete this Emma Cloud duvet review and share my final thoughts with you. Emma managed to build an eco-friendly duvet that is great for autumn and spring. It’s an affordable option that is well built and it comes with excellent service and support. If you look for a good all-rounder, this is a great option.
