After completing my first wake up light review, I am ready to complete my second one! I recently received the Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock HF3510 and after 2 weeks of using it, I would like to share my thoughts with you. It is a very nice proposition at a good price but rich in features. So let’s move to the full review for more details.
Features
The Philips HF3510 is designed to wake you up with light and sound or just light. There are three nature alarm sounds to choose from but also twenty brightness settings. This means that you can design your personalised experience which is great! The sunrise simulation mode is also customisable and you can set it to last between 20-40min. I personally have set it up for 30min. One feature I love about the Philips HF3510 is the FM radio functionality. That means that instead of the alarm sounds, you can set the wake-up light to play your favourite radio station every morning! I found this very useful, as I love waking up to a different song every day. Of course, the Philips HF3510 has a sunset mode too, so you can set it to simulate sunset if you want to sleep this way. It comes with a 2-year warranty and using the LED technology, it has low energy consumption.
Design
The Philips HF3510 has a conical shape and it looks very stylish in real life. Personally, I think it looks quite premium and someone would think it cost more than it actually does. The time is displayed at the bottom of the light with the buttons being located on the ridge of the light and they are a bit small. But after few days of usage, I got used to the buttons so not a really big problem here. The light measure approximately 22cm in height and 22cm in width. Overall the design is fantastic and it looked great on my bedside table.
Is the Philips HF3510 for me?
Having used the Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock HF3510 for two weeks now, I believe that this is an excellent mid-range clock. With 20 brightness settings, built-in FM radio and a stylish and contemporary design, this wake-up light is perfect for anyone who wants a quality piece of equipment without breaking the bank.
